We are searching for a singer. That's why thet "quartet" looks like it's missing someone! Eric Anderson has decided to concentrate his singing effort with a family trio. This will be a difficult replacement because of Eric's passion and talent, but we hope God will Bless this new ministry. We have started the replacement process and held a few auditions, we are excited about the future. We are looking foe a lead singer, or a baritone and the Shaun will move up to lead as an alternative. We have talked with a lot of talented people and we know the right person will come along at the right time.
We had a wonderful recording session at Gaither Studios for our CD project Joy In The Storm. Thanks to all that assisted in this effort. Songs like: Joy in the Storm, Stormy Waters, Walk on The Water, I've Been Blessed and many more! Send us an email if you would like a copy mailed to you. CLICK the sample below to hear short clips from many of this CD!
Join us on Facebook too! There you will be able to stay in touch with us as Eric supplies frequent updates. We are currently booking for spring, summer, and fall events. Email us with your request soon.
One Less Stone is a gospel quartet that began singing in 1995. We now travel throughout the midwest region to spread the Word of God in music. Mostly, we sing a southern gospel style, but what is most important is the message of salvation that we present in word and song. We would love to become a part of your worship service or event, so drop us an email!!
One of the most popular questions is: "Where does the name for the group One Less Stone come from?" The answer comes from Luke 19: 37-40.
37 When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. 38 “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!” 39 But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!” 40 He replied, “If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”
That is what our ministry is about, making One Less Stone to cry out AND more of God's children to spread the name of Jesus to all those seeking salvation.
What will it take for ONE LESS STONE to come to our church?
Simple, "Just invite us!". CALL US AT 419-648-5031 (Mark). We have never required a certain amount to sing at any church, so if you'd like to have us come to your church for a concert, homecoming, revival, youth rally, festival or other event, please, contact us today. We do ask that when possible, you provide a love offering plus an unspecified expense check of an amount your church is comfortable committing to. That may range from $200 to $1,000, depending on budget sizes. The expense check will help offset fixed costs while the love offering will provide for costs such as fuel, meals, lodging, etc. There are many regularly recurring costs, regardless of how near or far away we're singing. Regardless of your budget, our presentation of the gospel in song and testimony remains consistent. If your church can't afford an expense check of any amount, we will gladly come on a love offering-only basis to any church within a 100 mile radius.
Ticketed events, town festivals, etc.: We can reach a reasonable financial agreement based on your location and/or anticipated crowd size.
Benefit Concerts : We welcome the chance to perform at benefit concerts. If there is a need that we may be able to help with, we'd love the opportunity to do so. We will perform such benefit concerts free of any charge within a reasonable driving radius whenever possible.
Monetary Policy : We realize that a substantial portion of the moneys we receive comes from individual donations from those in attendance at our concerts. We also know that many of these individuals have reached the age of retirement and are on fixed incomes. To many, what they give requires a real sacrifice and they consider it to be offerings over and above their normal church tithing. We do not take those sacrifices lightly, and we are committed to being as sound of financial stewards as we can possibly be with what God provides. We also operate under the principal of full disclosure.
